I decided to start Blogging because it just seems like a cool way to let people know what you are thinking so here goes.....
Over the years I have learned that bad things happen to good people, its not for us to question why its happened, we just have to believe God has put us in the situation for a reason. I am constantly reminded of the saying" that which does not kill us makes us stronger" but that is not always the case, sometimes it doesnt make you stronger it just makes you a different person, not a bad person just a different person, you might become more leary of people or things or more cautious. I recently lost my father in law, it was very sudden and it hurt us deeply I loved my father in law I consider myself blessed to have been given such wonderful in laws. The point is that we lost him and suddenly but before his heart gave out he was diagnosed with liver cancer, now keep in mind we were told he had cancer just hours before we lost him. It was tragic that we lost him but after our initial grief we realized that we werent the issue our loved one was the issue, God saved him from a long painful process with cancer and allowed him to go peacefully, we would have lost him after maybe a few months and even though we were not expecting his death so suddenly it was a blessing and now he is with our Heavenly Father. I consider this an example of not neccessarily making me stronger it made me different, I have changed alot in my personal life and in my heart because I was shown how fragile life is and how it can be taken from you in an instant. Anyway I have wasted enough time so until next time. i hope you enjoy reading my BLOG.
Well said
ReplyDeleteRobert & I discussed many times how blessed we were to have a wonderful daughter-in-law like you. The only thing we ask for was that you were good to Richard. That you were good to us also was an added blessing. You are a special person
